A Word from our Youth Minister...
The Baybrook Baptist Student Ministry, FIREPROOF, exists to REACH unbelieving students, DEEPEN them in their faith and to SEND them out into their world to IMPACT it for Jesus Christ.
SUNDAYS
Our goal is to allow the truths of God's Word to engage with the life needs of teenagers. Student Life Bible Study is our current curriculum. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Upper Room before splitting Junior high and High school. Every 5th Sunday of the month is a special breakfast and fellowship time.
Meet for REVOLUTION from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on Sunday evenings at the Cooper home. Call 713.870.7248 for direction.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT OVERFLOW is a time of fun, fellowship, encouragement, and worship through Bible Study. Junior high and High school students meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 until 8:15 PM in the UPPER ROOM. The purpose of OVERFLOW is to help students apply scriptural principles to their everyday life situations and decision-making processes.

Degree: I have a BS in Elementary Education from University of Houston - Clear Lake. I recently completed my Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in the Spring of 2006."
Favorite Movie: : I love the messages of film and seek the deeper meanings. The Dark Knight was an engaging, action packed movie that explored the depths of the human condition. It also has Batman and the Joker! Nothing is deeper than Dumb and Dumber.
Favorite Book: Desiring God by John Piper. My wife is fascinated by the Twilight series.
Favorite Band: Rock to Kutless, Jeremy Camp, and TobyMac, but enjoy all kinds of music.
